I'm starting this blog to keep up with my ever changing dog pack plus two cats.
We got our male twin kitties fixed today. I brought them home opened the crate and set them free. They were, to say the least, completely out of it and in hind site I probably should of kept them in there at least for a few hours. With 6 dogs and two young children I sometimes slip on making the best decisions. The good news is tonight after dinner Kim showed up he was hiding in the roof. My oldest daughter named Kim after Barbi and Kim. Yes, I know and you know it's Ken but she thought it was Kim so Kim it is. We are also having a bit of a flea issue. Fleas also contribute to paracite issues. Mini Brownie Brown our 6 month old chihuahua was vomiting and super low energy yesterday. Walking around with her eyes half closed. I gave her a bath to get more fleas off of her. I was headed to the city in the morning to get frontline for the fleas and meds for the parasites. After the bath I prepared an egg with diatomaceous earth to help with killing parasites but she did not want to eat an egg. This is when I got really nervous. She slept in the dirty clothes basket that night and by morning she was acting like nothing ever happen. Today she and Berry got their meds and all seems right again. Sometimes, I think they just need extra loving wrapped up in a warm towel. Berry showed up here when we were building our house. Just a young puppy of maybe 10 weeks. So of course we adopted him. Tippy, my youngest daughters cat, has not showed up yet. Saying a prayer tonight that tippy will be snuggled next to his brother by morning.
