Are we pregnant? Parasite pills

Bubby & Mini
March 15th it happen. Mini is 8 months old and in her first heat. I came running down the stairs in the middle of the night to find out why the dogs where screaming.  Yep, I knew it was coming but I was secretly hoping they were just to young and it wouldn't happen. It happen Mini and Bubby were tied. They lost their virginity to each other. Very sweet and disturbing because this wasn't suppose to happen until her second heat.  The next day I decided that I would put her in the kennel with Uncle Berry (whom is fixed) so she wouldn't be lonely. I made them a nice bed and special fish treats. I locked the gate behind me and went up to bed. The next morning Erik looks out our bedroom window to see Mini sitting in the middle of our diveway! She jumped the fence! That dog I am convinced is part rabbit! She can be standing at your ankles then in a single leap she is chest high. Uncle Berry being the good listener that he is was still in the kennel enjoying his bed.

Puppies are due August 16
Bubby is in my lap (not the pig). Mini is the little brown dog on the floor snuggling with Uncle Berry.

Keeping track of the pack

I'm starting this blog to keep up with my ever changing dog pack plus two cats.
We got our male twin kitties fixed today. I brought them home opened the crate and set them free. They were, to say the least, completely out of it and in hind site I probably should of kept them in there at least for a few hours. With 6 dogs and two young children I sometimes slip on making the best decisions. The good news is tonight after dinner Kim showed up he was hiding in the roof. My oldest daughter named Kim after Barbi and Kim. Yes, I know and you know it's Ken but she thought it was Kim so Kim it is. We are also having a bit of a flea issue. Fleas also contribute to paracite issues. Mini Brownie Brown our 6 month old chihuahua was vomiting and super low energy yesterday. Walking around with her eyes half closed. I gave her a bath to get more fleas off of her. I was headed to the city in the morning to get frontline for the fleas and meds for the parasites. After the bath I prepared an egg with diatomaceous earth to help with killing parasites but she did not want to eat an egg. This is when I got really nervous. She slept in the dirty clothes basket that night and by morning she was acting like nothing ever happen. Today she and Berry got their meds and all seems right again. Sometimes, I think they just need extra loving wrapped up in a warm towel. Berry showed up here when we were building our house. Just a young puppy of maybe 10 weeks. So of course we adopted him.  Tippy, my youngest daughters cat, has not showed up yet. Saying a prayer tonight that tippy will be snuggled next to his brother by morning.
